The Dealer did the first changeout, i'll do the remainder. The filters installed from the factory can be very stubborn due to the paint that's applied with the filters ON the engine. The oil had a slight burned odor compared to fresh, but not as burned as the oil change at 400 hours, very little discoloration. The replacement of the oil is not due at this time, but I will be changing the front axle oil before winter.I found no particulate in the 1 cup of so of oil lost in the changeout of the Filter. I've watched videos of folks changing these filters and putting a shop vac on the fill port.I found this is a relatively easy and clean change. A great DIY project!
